Ability to travel as required to various locations throughout RI with a Valid driver's license
The Resource Coordinators coordinate, schedule and deliver all of the work to both internal and external field crew’s compliments for all RI. This role works closely with the Supervisors for the assigned line platforms.
Full Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities for all roles but not limited to:
- To manage construction work and resource assignments in the most efficient, cost effective way to meet the work plan for the client, based on workforce availability, performance, geographic optimization and schedule optimization – this includes scheduling to full resource availability, in real time
- Responsible for scheduling and coordination of short and long-term construction projects to both internal and external contractor crews, ensuring all customer and project need dates are met
- Monitor work backlog in the area to insure timely completion of all projects
- Manage, balance and coordinate external and internal resources in order to optimize short- and long-term resource needs
- Monitor and review work undertaken by project team in order to ensure appropriate use of materials, tools, equipment or resources and adherence to schedules
- Identify scheduling and need date risks due to resource constraints, field conditions, material and or equipment issues, and recommend appropriate action
- Support divisional reliability activities by making sure all activities are scheduled and progressed
Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience of scheduling, operations, project and program management
- Knowledge and understanding of State policies and practices and how to apply them effectively
- Planning skills including the ability to prioritize assignments
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrate personal accountability for delivering performance excellence
- Demonstrate proficient computer skills in systems like, utility Work management and other Data Systems, as well as MS Office applications
Pay Range: $50 - $57 Hourly
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
